3d Doppler ultrasound can detect the discharge blood of heart
In this research report, researchers from a Michigan university will talk about how they put 3d Doppler ultrasound as a more accurate tool to detect cardiac output.
The research use 4D medical Ultrasound scanner to detect a latex tube what is full of imitation of blood attribute liquid. Latex tube as heart bypass pump blood make fluid 60 to 80 of rate per minute circulatory flow and ultrasound scanner to scan for latex tube.
The researchers through the plane figure integration and power Doppler part volume correction to calculate estimate of average volume flow rate. They also get a number of the 4D volume ultrasound images.
They found that when volume flow rate is minimum 50, Ultrasound can make the estimate error of volume flow which is irrespective with angel is less than 10%. The total imaging time of volume of 50 is about 5 seconds, this shows that 4D ultrasound can be used as an important way of real-time noninvasive measurement for cardiac output and volume flow.
