Health Kiosks Provides Free Health Screenings
A new health kiosk will provide patients with an overall health assessment and body mass index (BMI) measurement in fewer than 10 minutes.
The SoloHealth Station provides health screenings for vision, blood pressure (BP), weight, and BMI, as well as a symptom checker, all free of charge. The kiosk will offer highly personalized, targeted, and interactive opportunities for consumers, advertisers, and retailers by placing the kiosks in high-traffic retail locations, offering integration across a multiplatform ecosystem complete with digital signage, Internet, mobile, and social media. The kiosk will thus connect consumers to local professionals through their databases, helping people enter the most appropriate and accurate point in the health care system.
A user may create an account at the kiosk using a user name, magnetic card, or bar code and password. The account can then be accessed on any kiosk in the network and may be available via an online web portal. Users may also able to forward a set of results or their biometric history to their personal email accounts. As a health care consumer engagement platform, the multiple-platform approach gives brand partners, consumers, and medical professionals the opportunity to interact with the consumers from many touch points. The SoloHealth Station is a product of SoloHealth (Duluth, GA, USA), and has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
“We hold accuracy, reliability, and safety standards at the highest level and are pleased to have met and exceeded regulatory standards with the testing trials we have conducted nationwide,” said Stephen Kendig, COO of SoloHealth. “We believe our SoloHealth Station will help educate and empower millions of Americans to take charge of their own health and should ultimately lead to a healthier, more efficient, and more financially sound nationwide healthcare system.”
