How to use medical x ray machine more long time, and effectively play its effectiveness has been focused by more and more machine users. Strengthening the routine maintenance of medical x-ray machine and service is the focus whom the maintenance man and operator should pay attention to. Maintenance staff and operators not only to understand the principles, structure, technical indicators and operational skills, but also to strictly abide by the rules, and to master the correct way to use the machine. Machine users give grate routine maintenance and service to machine, in order to fully play equipment’s effectiveness, and reduce equipment failure rates, and extend equipment life. Good maintenance and service can be done by two sides : maintenance staff and operators.
1. For equipment maintenance staff.
(1) routine maintenance
The medical x-ray machine should be maintained by the specialized staff. Once appearing malfunctions, the maintenance man should find out the problem, and inspect and maintain the machine. You should pay attention to the following aspects: a) If equipment failure happen, you should immediately stop to use it, and find the reasons of failure. Do not use the equipment before troubleshooting; b) Before taking equipment parts apart, components should be recorded clearly fixed position. After you take the machine apart, you must save screws and other fasteners to complete restoration or rehabilitation; c) The high voltage transformers and high voltage cables are on power, but you want to check high voltage components, manual procedures must be in accordance with the discharge, in order to avoid the danger of high voltage electric shock; d)During inspecting, testing, controlling part of the circuit process, you should cut off the primary circuit and the high voltage transformer circuit to avoid high-voltage generation; e) make detailed maintenance records.
(2) periodic overhaul, maintenance,
In addition to routine maintenance of x-ray machine, we must also carry out regular maintenance and service. The period can be set at six months or a year for a comprehensive inspection of system, so that we can facilitate timely detection of problems, troubleshooting there. Overhaul, service and maintenance is available from the following aspects: a) regularly check the power line, ground wire, connect the console cable wiring and external connections. Check whether the wiring position is normal, whether there is availability of loose screws, and whether wire insulation is intact. If it is necessary, testing the power resistor compare with ground resistance. b) inspect equipment such as fastening screws on the connectors, tighten fixed; c) Focus on the parts of the device, such as the examination bed, filter thread, columns, bearings, rails and other parts, which should be given regular inspection, and be paid attention to. Timely fill oil to the sliding part; d) Check the accuracy of observation instruments and the knobs ; e) Check whether the electrical components within the console is working properly, whether the contact is with or without oxidation corrosion, and whether relay is normal; f) test the oil pressure of periodic high-voltage transformer; g) Check whether the connection wire is broken (such as occur off shares), if there is, replace it when it is in need; h) clean and high voltage cable plug and socket, replace the insulation pad, check whether the normal metal ground ; i) exposure under load test, and calibrate exposure time and the gear mA value; j) using a soft cloth or paper tigers gas source often wipe the device's internal and external to keep equipment clean; k) equipment inspection has been completed, tighten the connecting parts, will be restored to their original parts, power test machine. Check accuracy in identifying a variety of technical indicators, before the normal use of the equipment; h) keep records of examination for the machine.
2 for the equipment operators
a) be versed in equipment performance and operating specifications, and specialized person manage the equipment; b) check the power before the machine start. Observe whether the supply current and voltage meter works properly after the machine starts. If there is abnormal situation, user adjust the meter by the correct method; c) in accordance with normal procedures, select the appropriate conditions for normal exposure operation; x-ray tube of the tube current, tube voltage, exposure time must be selected within the specified scope; d) moving parts, such as examining table, filter lines, etc. must be fixed before they can operate securely; e) Adjust the switch or knob of various instruments to observe whether the indicated value in the normal range; f] pay attention to the work of the instrument when you are doing fluoroscopy or filming. If there is abnormal situation, such as discharge, odor, etc., user must immediately cut off the power, and notify the maintenance person to check it. Stop to use the equipment before identifying the reasons; g) Turn the equipment off after use; h) Maintain patency of room air, temperature and humidity suitable; i) Be sure regularly clean equipment, and keep the equipment clean.
Equipment maintenance and service is often overlooked, in fact, they are very important to the equipment. We have to seriously and carefully pay attention to the maintenance and service, in order to use the equipment in a better way, and fully show the equipment’s power, and prolong its useful life.
