The right practice:
the person who use medical x-ray equipment must study the professional technology of x-rays, and be familiar with the principles of the machine's structure, performance and size characteristics, master its operating procedures and safety rules, working strictly in accordance with normal operating procedures. As follows:
(1) Strictly control conditions of use: firstly calibrate the power voltage after power
supply; filament voltage can not be too high, because the filament voltage directly
affects the X-ray tube filament to give play to level. Therefore, user must use equipment according the rules. after machine stops working, shut it down in time, in order to
avoiding the filament being in no use consumption. Prohibit using medical x-ray
machine beyond capacity and kV, and be sure not to overload the machine. Under
meeting the diagnostic needs of the general premise, try your best to use equipment
below the 80% of the x-ray tube capacity. Those which have served for a long time
should be reduced the condition of use as much as possible.
(2) Instrument Security: every time, before shutdown and boot, instrument pointer,
such as K volt table pointer and power table pointer, should be turn to the minimum position, then you can appropriately adjusted to the normal conditions state, after the
equipment boot, So that avoiding the pointer hit by being suddenly power on or off.
(3) When the machine is working, user should pay attention to intermittent time of the machine, generally speaking, the x-ray tube surface temperature is generally not more
than 50℃. Prohibit adjusting the control knob or a sudden shutdown, and machine
components should be kept in safe state after work. When the machine appear unusual
sounds, smells, and the pointer indicates during working time, you should promptly
shut it down, then cut off power, and tell the maintenance staff that. Don’t make the
sick machine work , so as not to expand malfunctions.
Daily maintenance:
Whether can the machine normally operate contact with the daily maintenance, and
maintenance work should be to every individual. To eliminate only use without
maintenance. There are two types of maintenance, daily maintenance and regular maintenance.
(1) Daily maintenance: every day, before work or after work, the user should clean dust and decontamination on the machine surface, and keep the machine and the room
clean and dry. No debris or minimal debris in the engine room.
(2) Regular maintenance: the repair man help designated maintenance staff do the
work of maintenance. They must regularly inspect all electrical and the fixed
connections between the mechanical components, and clean the dust, rust oil (need to pay attention to whether oils contact with the high voltage cable). View the machine's
operations. If necessary, to use instruments check on the various parameters. Those
medical x-ray machines which haven’t use for a long time should be carried out the
test training before using.
Maintenance:
it is inevitable for the machine to appear failure when it is working, once appearing the failure, user shall immediately stop work, then tell the maintenance staff about it. After finding out the cause of the malfunction, the maintenance man repair the machine, so that it return to the best performance as much as possible. User do make a detailed record that include daily use of the machine and repair after a failure situation in the file, in order to master the machine’s performance.
