High-end industry involves widely and no one enterprise can do that dependly. Although domestic medical instrument products are concentrated in middle and low end products. But we can see that there are some enterprises engaging in processing for international medical enterprise or acquire the key technology by cooperation. At present, the domestic medical enterprises should do that by this way and get technology by market. They shouldn’t do the production of high end medical instrument.

Comprehensive research and development ability and opening-up and cooperation

Before this time, medical equipment companies have developed by personal and enterprises don’t independent research and development team, therefore, research and development is difficult to continue. Although there are some companies having independent research and development team, enterprises competition have a tendency to a comprehensive research and development ability. Even some enterprises have developed some hign-end products, such as Digital Radiography, ECG and Color Ultrasonic system, but prospects are not optimistic. Even that it is broke through in some key link, but comprehensive research and development ability and systems integration ability are still lacking. By opening-up and cooperation, improving the ability of enterprise the comprehensive research and development is a better strategy of domestic enterprises. One example is that the Computed Tomography developed by DongRuan and had an opening-up and cooperation with Philips.

Continuous innovation ability

Continuous innovation is different from innovation. Market promotion is the important basic of continuous innovation. At present, with China rapid development and the open vision, there is no problem of technology innovation. The most important is that industry system establishment. No complete industry formats and comprehensive research and development ability, continuous innovation have been obstacles of Industry development.

 The government and industry association should pay more attention to high-end product development and need establishment of industry environment and guide.
