But China medical equipments are concentrated in middle and low end products, such as cotton-wool, common medical-x-ray machine, bandages, disposable syringe, color ultrasonic system and monitor. Among of them, foreign and joint venture companies have accounted for half of the value of exports. Therefore, domestic medical instrument enterprise overall situation is not optimistic.

Although the product structure is widely reviled which is mainly middle and low end product, any one industry development is closely related to the whole industry environmen. Middle and low end product is accord with current industry environmen; If high end medical instrument is appeared on the market, such as MRI, PET/Computed Tomography and Digital Radiography, it won’t be reality. In fact, the enteprises run middle and low end products and live well; But high end product enterprises live difficultly. This is because that high-end product industry dynamic of domestic enterprise is not fully formed presently and don’t have the industry environment of high-end products. High-end medical equipment fields involved are very extensive. The requirments are very strict from precision processing, imaging, biochemical products, new materials, software development, the funds for continuous investment. If some high-end parts are rely on import, product vice bonus will reduce dramatically on one side and cost advantage is difficult to reflect. Even some high-end accessories imports still exists many restrictions.

In a word, under the industry environment of current China medical ventilator, it is suit for steady upgrade road. Chinese characteristic industrial base is made and combine with the advantage of cost of China, talent and market and go into high end from the low end gradually.
