500 MA industrial frequency X-ray machine failure analysis overhaul
When use 500ma industrial frequency X-ray machine for some years, it will appear some failures. Now there are some usual fault as follows:
First, fault phenomenon
Appear overload alarm after exposuring one or two time. After shutdown for a few minutes, it can exposure and do overload protection.
(1) Analysis overhaul
Firstly, You can separate high voltage generator primary connection and install bulb of 220v, 100w between JX4-6 and JX4-8. Then press hand break and make the machine exposure. Until bulb having worked for all the time after finshing exposure, you will find that although bulb works, it is dark than exposuring. Turn off power, you can use multimeter to measure silicon controlled and SCR.
Secondly, boot
It makes the machine exposure until fault appearing again. Come off hand break and use multimeter to measure SCR trigger feet voltage, you can find that there is no voltage between JXIO-1 and JXIO-2. But there is 18v Dc voltage between JXIO-3 and jxio-4. It proves that silicon controlled has one end which is triggered by mistake.
Thirdly, Turn off total power. You can measure BG82 transistor and find that it has no breakdown and measure J6A and you can see that contacts don’t open; Change it and solve the fault.
Second, Fault phenomena
Open the machine and press hand break first grade, you can hear voice of rotating anode and then press second grade, milliammeter doesn’t have instructions.
Analysis overhaul
Film doesn’t exposure and proves that X-ray tube doesn’t install or filament doesn't bright. If the filament doesn't bright, the current transformer has no induced voltage. Then start protection circuit and can't open start-up circuit
Firstly, take down searching light and open the machine and observe filament no light.
Secondly, turn off the machine and take down negative high voltage cables and discharge for floor. You can use three hard copper wires insert tube negative three terminals hole. Use multimeter to measure conduction and explain that filament isn't broken.
Thirdly, Take down high voltage generator primary input and open machine to measure negative high voltage cables three terminals. If there is voltage, it proves that high voltage cables and the tube contact undesirablly. You can use blade to open a little part of middle gap and install it in negative high voltage cables three terminals. Then filament light and machine fault remove.
