Here we go again after what seems like forever but it's only been a few months since Hines Ward and Kym Johnson boogied their way to the outrageous mirror ball trophy on "Dancing with the Stars."

Using the announcement of the cast for Season 13 as a ploy to get more viewers to watch the woeful "Bachelor Pad," host Tom Bergeron and co-host Brooke "I like my hand on my hip" Burke revealed the celebrities.

One of these days, ABC is going to change the name of the show to "Dancing with Who the Heck is That?" But until then, we must muddle through a list of celebrities that may not all be familiar to anyone who is not a fan of reality TV or sports.

The dancing dozen celebrities competing on Season 13 are:

  • Nancy Grace -- outspoken legal commentator and TV host

  • Kristin Cavallari -- was on "The Hills" reality TV show

  • Ricki Lake -- TV talk show host who happens to have a book coming out in spring 2012 and a new talk show in fall 2012

  • Chynna Phillips -- of Wilson Phillips (with Carnie and Wendy Phillips) who happens to have a new album coming out

  • Hope Solo -- outstanding goalie with 2011 USA Women's World Cup soccer team

  • Elisabetta Canalis -- Italian actress, the "squeeze" of George Clooney until they broke up recently

  • David Arquette -- known for 'Scream" movies, estranged husband of Courtney Cox

  • Rob Kardashian -- brother of all those Kardashian sisters; on "Keeping Up

  • Derek Hough

  • Mark Ballas

  • Maks Chmerkovskiy, who personally requested Hope Solo as his partner

  • Val Chmerkovskiy, Maks' brother

  • Tristan MacManus of last season's "Troupe"

  • Peta Murgatroyd, also of last season's "Troupe"

  • Cheryl Burke
