“Middle East” is consist of twelve countries and most of countries are rich. Even undeveloped economy country such as Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, Per capita GDP are also higher than most of African countries. These countries have a good medical condition and hospital medical equipments are the same with some developed countries of Western Europe. Recently, Middle East area has become competitive market of world medical equipment manufacturers.

Great demand of medical device

Due to Middle East country people have higher income and people life level has a general improvement. The world health organization has been divided into one of area of global diabetes and cardiovascular disease. America is the largest medical equipment manufacturing country in the world and is also the main importing country of Middle East medical products. In past several years, annual growth rate of medical devices that America exported to milddle east was 22%. But rich countries of middle east, such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, the high-end medical devices(such as Computed Tomography, Digital Radiography, MRI, PET) are main products of America. In addition, there are lots of America experts and common doctors who work in Middle East hospitals for many years. They will use and recommend hospitals to purchase America medical equipments.

Although it is that, developing countries still have a certain market share. Recently, China exported some small medical equipment products to Middle East countries, including Breathing machine, anesthesia machine, self-destruct syringe needle, picks, sucking phlegm machine, all kinds of medical catheter, surgical instruments products and first aid packet and laboratory diagnostic equipments. In high-end medical diagnosis image instrument, portable B ultrasound and high Frequency Radiography Unit, China products have little market share. Middle East medical equipment market is important market for China and domestic medical device industry should improve product quality and grade. In that condition, it can account for larger market share in Middle East.
