Desert Radiologists Names William P. Moore II As New CEO
Desert Radiologists, Nevada's largest and most trusted medical imaging company today announced the appointment of William P. Moore II as Chief Executive Officer.
"Mr. Moore has taken on a great responsibility. Desert Radiologists has a long history of providing the best of care to Southern Nevadans, and we expect Mr. Moore to maintain our high standards and continue to improve upon them," said Robert Poliner, M.D.
Prior to joining Desert Radiologists, Mr. Moore was the Senior Vice President of Operations for the West Region of US Oncology, Inc. located in Houston, Texas, where he provided operational leadership to six large oncology practices located in Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington. Mr. Moore also served as CEO for Lake Mead Hospital Medical Center (North Vista Hospital) in North Las Vegas, COO for Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas and COO for Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana.
Moore obtained a Master of Business Administration from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Utah.
"Mr. Moore is a proven executive with an exceptional blend of strategy and leadership skills," said Dr. Poliner. "We are very excited to have Mr. Moore join Desert Radiologists as we celebrate our 40th year in Las Vegas."
