Hitachi Aloka Medical, Ltd. (Tokyo, Japan) announced the release of a new digital diagnostic ultrasound system, F37. The system was developed with a focus on contributing to primary care, such as in clinics and examination institutions. The new, compact system was designed to expand sales boundaries in developing countries and to pioneer new users of diagnostic ultrasound.
The layout of the operation panel was designed so that even first-time users can naturally operate the system. The freely customizable operation panel offers a more simple and comfortable examination environment, leading to higher efficiency.
Care was taken also for ergonomic usability. Examinations can be performed in a natural posture, reducing burden on the examiner. Moreover, a large-capacity hard disk drive (HDD) was adopted for keeping record of everyday exam data.
Broadband harmonics (BbH) attains both high sensitivity and resolution, delivering images with minimal artifacts. Functions inherited from higher-class models such as adaptive image processing (AIP) and spatial compound imaging (SCI) support acquiring optimum images of the exam target. Furthermore, an image optimizer allows for concentrated examinations by simplifying image adjustments.
The diagnostic ultrasound system F37 has imaging features most usable for daily examinations. This product range will continue contributing to diffusing further ultrasound diagnosis and raising medical standards worldwide.
