The Hamiton-T1 ventilator features a powerful design increasing availability for appropriate modes of therapy for treating ventilated intensive care patients outside the hospital. Reliable data gathering and easy-to-follow user guidance offer better clinical decision criteria and improved patient outcomes, together with low operating costs throughout working life. Suitable for all patients, from the pediatric to the adult, the device covers a full range of clinical requirements, including invasive ventilation, automated ventilation with adaptive support ventilation (ASV), and noninvasive ventilation (NIV).
A unique ventilation “Cockpit” design provides the information needed for accurate clinical support. The ventilator, which weighs less than 6.5 kg, comes with built in batteries offering 5.5 hours operating time and 8.4” color touch screen. A high performance turbine with variable speed allows highly accurate and independent ventilation without a compressed gas source. The ventilator can be operated via the touch screen or with a single turn wheel, and hard keys give direct access to the most important functions. Optional ports provide an interface for connection to hospital monitors, Patient Data Management Systems (PDMS), and nurse call systems.
To protect the device during operation, the ventilator features a hose cover that protects the breathing circuits, including the proximal flow sensor and the carbon dioxide (CO2) monitoring cable; 90° angulated connectors allow compact application of the breathing circuits. Integrated mechanical mounts, worldwide electrical supplies, multiple gas supplies, and airway CO2 monitoring are standard, and an integrated handle allows the HAMILTON-T1 to be mounted on a variety of stretchers or rails, making it easy to transport the patient with the ventilator safely secured and properly positioned. The Hamiton-T1 is a product of Hamilton Medical (Bonaduz, Switzerland).
